The Sperry Baseball tournament was scheduled to last from Thursday, March 9 through March 11, but weather delays pushed back the final day of games to Monday, March 13. It was a 6 team tournament with two pools of three. The first two days consisted of pool play while the final day was a slate of the championship games.

The Skiatook Bulldogs and Sperry Pirates both ended up in Pool B, which meant the neighboring towns would take a friendly rivalry to the field for the late game of the Friday, which began at 4 PM.
