Securing a place in the 5A Area Tournament, the Coweta Lady Tigers broke a seven year void last week at Tulsa East Central as they defeated the Skiatook Lady Bulldogs 44-34 to advance to the Regional finals.

The Lady Tigers have steadily improved over the season and had chances to win several more games, but would always suffer a weak quarter or defensive lapse that cost them victory — but not this time.
