The Claremore Zebras (5-3) led the conference going into Thursday night, but the Skiatook Bulldogs (4-4) shook up the standings by taking down the leaders, 28-16, in a game that came down to the final two minutes.
Despite four interceptions from sophomore quarterback Cody Evans, Skiatook came away with the biggest win of the season. The victory was fueled by TK Wilkerson’s career day on the ground, solid defensive play, and all around hustle from Shae Garner, the captain of the Bulldogs squad.
